Fancort Industries, Inc., a global supplier of cost-effective solutions to electronics manufacturers, will exhibit in Booth #3424 at the IPC APEX EXPO, scheduled to take place Feb. 24-26, 2015 at the San Diego Convention Center in California. Company representatives will showcase the new series of floor mounted routers. Three models are available (SM3320S-S Single Table, SM3350S-DTwin Table and SM4520L-D Twin Table) for varying production requirements.
Fancort’s new floor mounted routers program the cutting path with easy-to-use controls. Cutting paths can be saved, edited and copied. A built-in high resolution color CCD camera with 20x magnification assists programming and allows the operator to watch the operation. The routers also feature a vision system to check fiducials and prevent cutting errors.
The routers include a tool monitoring system that sends a warning signal if a tool breaks and the tool life cycle can be programmed to alert the operator when it is time to replace. Precision ball-screw and linear guides enable the routers to maintain accurate repeatability of +/-0.03mm. Additionally, the routers feature dust collection from the bottom with a built-in ionizer to reduce static electricity and a safety shield to protect the operator.
For higher production requirements, other platforms are available for in-line or rotary table processing. For more information about the systems and options, visit www.fancort.com.
