Data I/O Corporation (NASDAQ: DAIO), the leading global provider of advanced programming and IP management solutions for flash, flash-memory based intelligent devices and microcontrollers, announced today that it will highlight the PSV7000 automated programming system in Booth #517 at the IPC APEX EXPO, scheduled to take place March 25-27, 2014 at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The PSV7000, the industry’s first automated programming system delivering unprecedented velocity, versatility and value, exceeds the most demanding programming requirements at up to 50% lower cost.
Engineered for speed, the PSV7000 is capable of programming up to 2000 devices/hour with tray, tape or tube input even with large file size. The PSV7000 achieves this with Data I/O’s proprietary dual pick-and-place probes, SSD’s for fast file download, state of the art vision-on-the-fly for precision alignment and Data I/O’s proven FlashCORE III programming engine with SuperBoost Technology for optimized algorithms.
Designed for ultimate flexibility, the PSV7000’s provides the greatest socket density with up to 96 programming sockets. With zero mechanical changeover between jobs, media options are concurrently installed inside the work envelop including tape, tube, dual tray feeder, fiber laser marking and 3D coplanarity. The PSV7000’s precision alignment and placement support handling the smallest devices on the market down to 1.5 mm x 1.5 mm for the widest range of automated parts handling. FlashCORE III universal programming engine supports all device types including FPGAs, CPLDs, Microcontrollers and flash memories (including eMMC, NAND, and NOR devices)
The PSV7000 delivers unprecedented value to customers. Existing Data I/O customers can leverage their installed base of FlashCORE III adapters, software, and algorithms as well as the superior handling and I/O capabilities of the PSV7000. New Data I/O customers can take advantage of the world’s most reliable and trusted programming engine and the most advanced handling system. The combination of high throughput, fast changeover features and extreme flexibility allows manufacturers using one PSV7000 to program what previously required multiple systems to produce.
