Kurtz Ersa North America, a leading supplier of electronics production equipment, announces that Conelec Electronic Manufacturing has selected the ECOSELECT 2 for its facility in Deland, FL. The ECOSELECT 2 is ideally suited for operation in modular production lines, and it is the optimal solution for small and medium scale production where flexibility is paramount.

The ECOSELECT 2 uses the same successful and proven Ersa selective soldering technology as the large Ersa VERSAFLOW systems without compromising quality or accuracy. The high-precision servo gantry system and electromagnetic pumping system, together with top- and bottom-side preheating, provide the highest capability and best repeatability. Additionally, the ECOSELECT 2‘s in- and off-line cell concept offers the best price/performance ratio and little space requirement for high-quality selective soldering, and it is a perfect and flexible solution for both first-time users and manufacturers with small- to medium-series production.

Conelec Electronic Manufacturing is a proven leader in turnkey electronics manufacturing services (EMS). The company excels at producing high complexity, high-performance electronics for a multitude of industries. Conelec carefully selects and deploys its state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment to meet prototype, new product introduction (NPI), and low- to medium-volume production with high-mix requirements.

Joe Benz, Conelec’s Vice President of Manufacturing,  stated: “ Our customers have been extremely pleased with our decision to add the Ersa ECOSELECT 2 to our collection of world-class printed circuit board assembly equipment.  They feel confident that their products are being manufactured with the best equipment on the market, which in turn ensures they are receivng the highest quality product possible. ”
