Sep 27, 2013 After more than 22 years of successful business activity, the Ziehbrunner and Tschumi families have decided to pass on their reign of Essemtec to new investors. The private investors have an industrial background and will inject a substantial amount of capital to take advantage of the great potential of this innovative enterprise and to improve manufacturing capacity as well as distribution channels.
The current and future President of the Board, Alain B. Fuchs, is very happy about the succession: “We are delighted to present a team of two investors with a long term outlook. Essemtec will benefit not only from fresh money, but from a wealth of industrial experience and know how that these individuals bring to the table. Moreover, the transition was carefully planned as the new management was installed over six months ago. Innovation, Swiss quality and excellent service will remain the cornerstones of our strategy.”
With the recent introduction of the Paraquda and Cobra pick-and-place machines, and even more so with the award-winning Scorpion jet dispenser, Essemtec has a proven track record for innovative high-productivity production systems. This year’s productronica trade show in Munich will offer the next opportunity to see these systems up close.
