SMTA and iNEMI announce the program for the two-day Medical Electronics Symposium. The event will be held November 12-13, 2013 at the Embassy Suites in Milpitas, CA. The symposium will focus on medical electronic devices, carriers and components, advanced assembly techniques, reliability and the complex global regulatory requirements (including RoHS) required for medical applications.
The first day of the symposium, Tuesday, November 12, will feature sessions on Reliability Manufacturing, Miniaturization, Cleaning, and Reliability Design of Medical Electronics. Speakers represent companies including Fraunhofer IZM, St. Jude Medical, Schoeller Electronics, Cactus Semiconductor Inc., Kyzen Corporation, ZESTRON America, Dyconex AG, Indium Corporation, and more.
Day two will consist of sessions on Emerging Technologies, RoHS, and Trends. A Panel from iNEMI will discuss “Key Issues Facing the Medical Electronics Industry” from the 2013 iNEMI Roadmap.
