ACD, a leading supplier to the electronics industry, announces the appointment of Kurt Orr as its newest Senior Account Manager. Orr will be responsible for ACD’s accounts in selected states in the Western US.
In his new role, Orr will maintain and expand the customer base in his territory. He is responsible for all regional field sales activities including customer contact, contract initiation, market activity monitoring, and intelligence gathering. Additionally, Orr is responsible for ensuring seamless support to ACD’s customers in his respective territory.
An industry veteran, Orr joins ACD with more than 20 years of management and supervisory experience, nine years of contract manufacturing experience, and ten years of circuit board and process engineering experience. His previous roles in the industry include General Manager, Sales Engineer and Regional Sales Manager, among others. Orr has experience processing and presenting proposals and is intimate with all phases of the manufacturing process, making his transition to ACD seamless.
