MTS500 Condor - The industry's most advanced Flying Probe test system.

Digitaltest and Solution Sources Programming Inc. (SSP) announced that Solution Sources, a comprehensive programming solution provider in San Jose, has added Digitaltest's Condor Flying Probe solution to provide programming and testing services.

"Adding the Digitaltest Condor system to our test floor was a necessity to accommodate the influx of new customers, requiring fixtureless test and testing services" said Dan Orlando, president of SSP. "Adding the Flying Probe system from Digitaltest will allow us to provide the quick-turn and testing services our customers require."

The Condor flying probe solutions from Digitaltest provide class-leading performance for any test requirement. From fixtureless ICT to functional test the Condor platform provides the access and test tool-suite to test the most complex board.

For access, accuracy is one advantage the system can bring our customers. With 0.65um resolution the system has the capability to probe 100um pads allowing for the maximum access on PCB products.

Deploying the latest active head technology, the Condor can accurately measure 1pf capacitance. For digital components the system uses the latest vectorless opens test methods, and can integrate multiple Boundary scan techniques. All systems provide bottom side probing capability, which can be used to assist powered function, and digital testing.

"We are extremely pleased to be working with SSP," said Paul Groome, Vice President for Sales in the Americas. "This partnership will provide the solutions needed for the customers requiring high quality board test."
