A Look to the Future in the Electronics Industry at IPC APEX EXPO® 2013

The latest innovations in electronics manufacturing will be showcased at IPC APEX EXPO®, February 19-21, 2013, at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, Calif. Industry professionals from more than 50 countries will gather to learn about emerging technology, stay a step ahead of the competition and review new products at the largest electronics manufacturing exhibition in North America.

More than 400 exhibitors will be on hand to highlight new products and services to help companies gain efficiency, save money and improve their bottom lines. The exhibition will feature suppliers for printed electronics, printed boards and electronics manufacturing, with top categories including test/inspection systems; pick and place; rework/repair; and production hand tools and fixtures plus adhesives/dispensers and more. New this year is the New Product Corridor, which gives attendees a sneak preview of groundbreaking equipment, materials and services.

The IPC APEX EXPO technical conference, February 19-21, is known around the world as the finest and most selective forum for new research and innovations presented by industry leaders in the areas of board fabrication and design and electronics assembly. Keynote addresses will feature presentations by world-renowned theoretical physicist Dr. Michio Kaku, who will provide a look at life and technology in the year 2100; Dr. Larry Burns, R&D guru, who will share his vision of automotive breakthroughs (including driverless cars); and B. Gentry Lee, chief engineer for the Mars Curiosity rover mission, who will present a fascinating inside look at the mission to Mars that has captured the imaginations of millions of people around the world.

IPC APEX EXPO includes several free networking opportunities, including an international reception; a show floor welcome reception; a first-timers welcome; the IPC Government Relations Committee Open Forum; Women in Electronics Networking Meeting; and IPC Tech Talk. IPC awards luncheons and the IPC Annual Meeting also provide participants with opportunities to network (registration required).
