Today, August 28, 2012, the combined 18th edition of NEPCON South China and ATE China 2012 exhibitions began. Electronics manufacturing industry professionals are set for three days of intensive on-site education and discovery of new innovations along the entire electronics manufacturing industry chain.
At the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center, over 10,000 visitors came to see the most advanced locally and internationally produced electronics assembly and packaging equipment. By the end of Day 1, numerous electronics manufacturers had found technological solutions in line with their production requirements.
As the hub of global electronics manufacturing, South China has great demand for the types of electronics assembly products and packaging technologies widely applied in the production of consumer electronics, home appliances, PCs, LED devices, communication equipment, medical machinery, automotive electronics and so forth. With the continued rapid development of the electronics manufacturing industry, demand for automatic assembly and packaging equipment is on the rise, to cut labor costs and mitigate against worker shortages. ATE China 2012 will help manufacturers achieve this, while also boosting productivity and management efficiency.
Because it is the foremost event in China’s electronics manufacturing industry, a range of state-of-the-art assembly and packaging devices were on full display at today’s ATE China 2012 launch. These included assembly systems and materials, electric and pneumatic tools, machine vision systems and electronics packaging tools. Visitors to the show saw the latest in electronics assembly technology and equipment from renowned companies like Kilews, Federal, Dalsa, Techson Sumida and Fukucima.
Today, high-profile electronics manufacturers, like BYD Auto, Foxconn Technology Group, Huntkey, SAE, Shenzhen Speedy-Tech Electronics Co., Ltd., BYD Company Limited, Huizhou BYD Electronic Company Limited, Empire CMS and Grangseed, sent visiting delegations to the exhibition.
NEPCON South China 2012, one of the largest and longest-standing trade events in China’s electronics manufacturing industry, also opened its doors to visitors today, as did IMT South China 2012. Together the combined shows created the must-attend trade event in this part of the country for 2012. A total of 28,000 industry leaders and buyers made their way on to the show site to engage with suppliers face-to-face.
IMT South China brings together global leaders in the supply of metal machining equipment and products. The resultant event caters to the needs of electronics, communications devices and home appliance producers. It also fully meets demand from model manufacturers and from makers of medical devices.
The product seminars to run at IMT South China over the next three days will examine new solutions from the automotive, home appliance, model electronics, automotive parts and medical device industries – with the objective of showcasing new development trends.
Day 1 also saw the Society of Automotive Engineers Congress Asia (SAE Congress Asia) make its debut at IMT South China. Throngs of attendees took part. The SAE Congress Asia features experts from the local and international automotive industry, as well as the leading full-vehicle and components companies. These specialists examined pressing topics, like spare part manufacturing and electric cars, while sharing keen insights into new technologies and industry trends.
The IMT 2012 product seminar to be held tomorrow morning will explore new solutions in the automotive, home appliance model electronics, automotive parts and medical device industry. There, too, attendees will get the most recent updates on new development trends.
