Industry-leading solutions provider Christopher Associates Inc. made quite the splash with both exhibitors and attendees at the IPC APEX EXPO 2012 in San Diego, CA (2/28-3/1).
The company asked show attendees to wear “Ask Christopher” branded stickers, and some of those who sported their sticker all day received a handsome reward! Late in the day, Christopher Associates Consulting Engineer (and Shea Engineering Services President) Chrys Shea randomly chose sticker-wearers, handing them a Willy Wonka style Golden Ticket redeemable at Christopher’s booth for a crisp $50 bill.
“We wanted to promote the company in APEX’s uniquely targeted environment, and this was the perfect way to do that while thanking attendees for helping us,” commented General Manager Martin Gershenson. “Wait until you see what else we have planned for this year!”
The guerrilla advertising tactic was one of the most talked about events of the show, and left a lasting impression with all who attended.
