Heather Lackey and Kelly Grimm, formerly of Trafalgar Publications Ltd, recently co-founded Semplice Industry Marketing, a social media marketing, monitoring and management company servicing the industrial sector, including manufacturers and industrial suppliers.

Heather Lackey spent six years as managing editor for Trafalgar Publications, a publisher of trade journals for the electronics assembly, advanced packaging, solar and solid state lighting industries, where she oversaw production of the company’s industrial magazines, as well as their websites, newsletters and marketing materials. She also managed the websites and marketing campaigns for the company’s industry events, including CEMCONEX, EEARS and SMALED. Prior to her work with Trafalgar, she managed day-to-day marketing activities for Manncorp, Inc., a capital equipment supplier for the electronics assembly industry, and worked for The WaveRoom Plus, a provider of tools and consumables to electronics assemblers.
With Semplice, she leverages her industry and marketing experience to develop social media strategies tailored to industrial companies. As head of social media strategy and technology, she is also in charge of exploring and evaluating the latest social media technologies and trends.
Kelly Grimm, head of business development and operations for Semplice Industry Marketing, identifies and cultivates new opportunities for Semplice and Semplice’s clients, develops and executes key business strategies, and builds and maintains partner and client relationships. In her previous position as director of operations for Trafalgar Publications Ltd, Kelly worked closely with the marketing and sales teams, the company’s business partners, and key advertising accounts. Prior to Trafalgar, she worked in the health care industry.
