Senior Systems Introduces “Partner Portal” Website Feature

Sep 07, 2011

While the idea of direct customer interface with a company’s website is not new, Senior
Systems’ Partner Portal is one of the most comprehensive, accessible, and robust among
mid-tier EMS companies.
“Senior Systems’ Partner Portal offers a level of transparency and accountability rarely
seen in the EMS industry,” notes Brian Wisemore, Senior Systems’ Director of Supply
The system goes far beyond the ability to securely upload documents or receive
manufacturing reports, which are common in the industry.
“It literally lets customers look into our manufacturing systems, giving them 100% real-time
data,” added Wisemore. “Nothing is hidden.”
The Partner Portal allows customers to log in to see specifics of the manufacturing
process of their projects, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The system can track
individual assemblies, and even individual parts by their serial numbers. Wisemore notes
these features are especially valuable to customers in the Medical and Aerospace
While the Partner Portal offers a number of useful tools and functions, Wisemore says
the most commonly used features are accounts receivable, quality metrics, and real-time
work-in-progress reports.
Wisemore describes the Partner Portal as “a living, breathing thing,” emphasizing that
Senior Systems would continue to refine and improve the system’s features, based on
customer input. “We’re committed to increasing the value of this tool, to better meet our
customers’ needs,” he says. “We want to make doing business with Senior Systems easier.”
Senior Systems is an industry leader among EMS providers, specializing in high reliability,
high-cost-of-failure assemblies for the Medical, Commercial/Industrial, CleanTech, and
Military/Aerospace market sectors. As a full service EMS provider, the company’s
capabilities include design for manufacturability and testability, prototype and production
circuit board assembly, materials procurement and control, manufacturing and test
engineering support, complete box-build, and final product packaging and logistics.
Senior Systems is ISO 9001:2008, ISO 13485:2003, and AS9100 certified, ITAR registered,
and FDA registered to build medical devices/products.
