ATE China 2011 was launched at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center earlier today. Co-located with NEPCON South China 2011, the two events showcase the entire integrated electronics manufacturing industry chain, while highlighting new concepts and development trends in the industry. Together, ATE China and NEPCON South China form a vibrant channel for information exchange and allow participating companies to meet market demand while learning about emerging industry trends.
ATE China 2011 is a major event in China’s electronics assembly and packaging industry calendar. On the first day of the event, streams of visitors poured through the doors. Major players in the electronics manufacturing industry sent significant delegations to visit the exhibition, like Gaobu Showa Electronics Factory, BYD Co. Ltd., UMC Electronics Factory, AFI Science & Technology Electronics Factory, Dongguan Lanchuang JieTeJia Electronics Factory, LG Innotek, Dongguan New Technology Development Co., Ltd., and Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. Together, the two events are set to draw 26,000 visitors to the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center over the entire show period.
South China, one of the fastest growing regions in global electronics manufacturing, electronics assembly and packaging, is a thriving hub. Therefore, new cost-saving processes and technologies is a focus at both shows. As will products and equipment that can replace manual testing, packaging and assembly. These are in great demand thanks to the recovery of the global economy, a rise in the volume of orders, growing labor costs and labor shortages. With the objective of reducing labor costs, improving productivity and complying with new strategies implemented at the height of the financial crisis, ATE China 2011 is dedicated to helping companies enhance productivity and management efficiency.
As the focus of the electronics manufacturing industry, a range of state-of-the-art electronics assembly and packaging devices and relevant consumables is on full display during ATE China 2011. Exhibits include assembly systems and materials, tools, machine vision systems, electronics packaging tools and materials. The sectors covered include ESD, machine vision, laser, EMS and high-precision engineering. The event is an ideal platform for electronics manufacturers to identify the technology solutions needed for assembly production. It is also where manufacturers come face-to-face with potential suppliers to enhance industry competitiveness.
Following their first day at ATE China 2011, many electronics manufacturers confirmed that the exhibition had showcased new innovations and solutions for reducing labor costs and increasing efficiency along the production line. It should be noted that in order to provide a more comprehensive exhibit profile to maximize our visitors’ return in visiting the show, this year Reed Exhibitions launched a High precision engineering pavilion within the ATE China. This pavilion is supported by China National Machine Tool Corp, our partner organizer of China International Machine Tool & Tools Exhibition., and will showcase the latest high precision machinery products and technologies.
Reed Exhibitions, the organizers of the event, have a long and strong pedigree of working in the electronics market. The continuous development and renewal of the Chinese electronics manufacturing industry not only brings a multitude of opportunities via the market for assembly packaging technologies and devices, it also presents companies with various new challenges.
Reed Exhibitions is the world’s leading events organizer, with over 440 events in 36 countries. In 2009 Reed brought together over six million active event participants from around the world generating billions of dollars in business. Today Reed events are held throughout the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific, and organized by 35 fully staffed offices.
