Speedprint, part of the Blakell Europlacer Group, has appointed Assembly Resource as its representative for northern California.

Assembly Resource specializes in the sales and support of capital equipment and materials used in electronics product manufacturing.  The company offers its customers and principals more than 50 years of combined experience in semiconductor and printed circuit board assembly (PCBA), including through-hole, mixed and surface mount technology (SMT).

“It is great to have another industry veteran on board representing Speedprint.  Leigh certainly will accelerate Speedprint’s penetration into the Americas’ marketplace as more users come to realize the benefits of the Speedprint SP 700avi machine.  Leigh will capably carry Speedprint’s value to his customers in not only the SMT arena but also the semicon industry.  I look forward to a long relationship with Assembly Resource,” commented Mark Brawley, Speedprint V.P.

Leigh Jackson, Assembly Resource, said, “Speedprint is a great company and I am very much looking forward to creating additional value by introducing the line to the northern California territory.”

Assembly Resource will represent Speedprint’s leading-edge stencil print technology throughout northern California. For more information about Assembly Resource’s products and services, contact Leigh Jackson at 510-659-8382 or on the Web at www.assemblyresource.com.

Speedprint Technology became a division of the Blakell Europlacer Group of companies in September 1998. Following the acquisition and re-establishment of Speedprint, the group formed a new engineering team, many of which had years of experience with locally based printer manufacturers including DEK and SMTech, to develop and enhance the company’s portfolio of products. In keeping with the ethos of the Blakell Group’s desire to offer flexible and innovative solutions to the market, Speedprint is committed to delivering affordable leading edge stencil printing technology. The realization of this ambition is clearly illustrated by the company’s flagship avi range of fully automatic inline printers. Today, Speedprint operates from a hi-tech facility based in Poole, in southern United Kingdom.
