July 15, 2015 – Kirkland, WA: ALMAX EIS has increased its quick-turn capacity for prototype membrane switches. New equipment at their Shenzhen manufacturing facility has made it possible to ship quick-turn membrane switches in five days at lower off-shore prices.
“Our customers were asking for lower cost membrane switch prototypes to support their NPI engineering efforts and the ability to have prototype through production runs manufactured in the same facility,” stated Bob Deppiesse, CEO of ALMAX EIS. “We responded by adding quick-turn capacity in Shenzen and integrating those processes with our existing US-based engineering and quote teams.”
ALMAX EIS will continue to produce quick-turn prototypes at their Tucson, Arizona facility, but in a limited capacity. “Our Arizona facility still focuses on quick-turn manufacturing,” stated Mr. Deppiesse, “Our new off-shore capacity just gives engineers and purchasing teams more options when sourcing their prototype membrane switch.”
