May 07, 2015 Assel, Poland based Contract Manufacturing Services provider, purchased an inline SPI (solder paste inspection) machine, Parmi Sigma X, which makes control of solder paste inspection process more precise and more efficient. Having SPI machine inline allows for continuous analysis of solder paste on each board and for quick correction of any discrepancy, as the machine sends an immediate signal to the printer to make a correction.
‘We have selected this machine as it is very precise, fast and simultaneously easy to operate. It has a new upgraded software and all data is on the Parmi machine itself, unlike other equipment where an external computer is necessary to display data,’ says Assel’s representative, ‘with better management of printing, we are better serving more demanding customers’ such as companies in automotive, or medical industries’.
