Conference Chair Peter Gresch from Tyco Electronics AMP was very satisfied with the outcome. "With 250 delegates from 23 countries and 32 speakers from the entire value-added chain of automobile electronics, the second 'Electronics meets Automotive' conference more than fulfilled its expectations." These are ideal starting conditions for the next conference.
An above-average number of visitors came from the USA, Japan, Italy, the Netherlands and Sweden.
About electronica automotive conference 2008
By combining the electronica automotive conference with electronica, Messe Mnchen created a international event for the automobile electronics sector. It has become the ideal forum in which to present and discuss electronics challenges facing automobile manufacturers, their component suppliers and electronics companies.
The conference is unique because it serves the international automotive community and is closely linked to electronica, the world's leading trade fair for the electronics industry. These links include the automotive forum, which is strongly geared towards software, and the comprehensive exhibition by technology automobile electronics leaders.
