NEPCON China 2011 Launches Green Electronics Design and Manufacturing Segment
NEPCON China 2011, organized by Reed Exhibitions, will shine a spotlight on green manufacturing in the Chinese electronics manufacturing industry. The event, which will take place at the Shanghai Everbright Convention & Exhibition Center from May 11-13, will feature a Green Electronics Design and Manufacturing Segment that will be an ideal sales channel for vendors. The show will promote integrated green solutions among electronics manufacturers.
Green electronics manufacturing, an important part of energy saving and emissions reduction, promotes the environmental protection demanded by central government. The show is a way of promoting integrated solutions in green electronics manufacturing, effectively fulfilling industrial upgrades and using government strategies for industrial development. The Green Electronics Design and Manufacturing Segment meets these requirements by providing in-depth services for businesses, clarifying national policies, meeting market challenges and connecting exhibitors with potential customers.
NEPCON China 2011 will display various types of equipment, products and services relevant to energy saving and environmental protection in its Green Electronics Design and Manufacturing Segment. These include three major categories of recycled non-ferrous electronics, quality control, automation and anti-static electricity, making it the only event in China that provides electronics manufacturers with green solutions. The segment is a key commercial platform between vendors of equipment, materials and services, as well as buyers from new application areas. Pro-Hand Electric, Rico Electronics, Jiasijie, Fukucima Industrial, Shanghai Nuoyin, Dongguan Sumida Automation, Shanghai Aurotek Corporation, 3W, Yuhao, Pousto Electronics Engineering, Yiyuan Electron, China Star, Wanrong, Hwawell, Testo and Ceprei Lab will feature exhibits that help electronics manufacturers greatly improve production efficiency and cut costs.
Zhou Ciwei, Manager of Shanghai Zhonghang Crystal Display’s Safety and Environment Department, believes that in 2011, businesses with qualification certificates and the ability to ensure data safety will prosper. The Green Electronics Design and Manufacturing Segment at NEPCON China 2011 will meet this demand in full. Mr. Wang, Manager of Gaowu Xikesi Electronics Shanghai’s Documentation Department, shows strong interest in the new segment and believes that green electronics manufacturing will become a leading industry trend.
Currently, green electronics manufacturing and sustainable development are key topics across the industry. At NEPCON China 2011, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ceprei Laboratory and Reed Exhibitions will host the first ever forum in China focused on green electronics design, manufacturing technologies, equipment and integrated green solutions. The forum, Green Electronics Design and Manufacturing 2011, will provide practical experience and serve as a channel for cooperation and exchange among Chinese manufacturers looking to achieve green manufacturing and sustainable development. Reed Exhibitions also will team with Shanghai Against Static Electricity Industrial Association and Clean Rooms Magazine to organize workshops on anti-static electricity and cleanrooms.
Undoubtedly, NEPCON China 2011 will be pivotal in the quest for green electronics manufacturing and design. The green technologies, equipment and products introduced by each exhibitor will become models of applications to be adopted in the future. Industry insiders believe it could be the foundation for Chinese electronics manufacturers to meet global green challenges.
As the largest and longest running electronics manufacturing and SMT event in China, NEPCON China 2011 will span an area of approximately 30,000 sqm, and feature key products from potential exhibitors. Currently, 95 percent of booths for NEPCON China 2011 have been sold out.
