Pick & Place equipment manufacturer, Europlacer, is set to shake up the industry at Productronica when it reveals a new placement platform that has been five years in development. The new systems will sit at the top of the company’s product range and complement the existing platforms. It promises to let manufacturers restructure productivity in surface mount assembly applications.
Veiled in secrecy at Europlacer’s manufacturing base in Rocheserviere, France, the platform was previewed confidentially to VIP customers and the company’s sales teams at the official opening of a factory extension in September. For the rest of the industry, it will be kept under wraps with all technology and performance details remaining secret until 14th November, the first day of the 2017 Productronica event.
“Visitors to Productronica are welcome to visit our booth No. 461 in Hall A2 to talk about how our expanding range of intelligent products can drive surface mount productivity, or just to look at what we’re unveiling. They won’t be disappointed,” says Andy Jones, Europlacer’s Business Development Manager. In addition to the newly-revealed platform, Europlacer will exhibit its premium placement and printer products, including the enhanced iineo+ and XPii+ platforms, the EP710 screen printer equipped with the award-winning S-Track traceability option, and the Lzero3 intelligent storage cabinet.
