Seica To Set Up a New Competence Center in Karlsruhe, Germany

Jan 04, 2017

With this new competence and sales center, Seica now offers its German customers, and prospective customers, a generously equipped new technology center, covering 375 square meters. There are several working areas, a training center and showrooms, featuring the latest Seica in-circuit testers, flying probe testers and selective laser soldering systems.

Establishing this competence center strengthens Seica’s customer activities in Germany. The new facility offers easy and quick access to training courses, customer support, customer presentations and application meetings. Marc Schmuck, sales director for Seica Germany is enthusiastic about the recent investments: „We will be in a much better position to fulfil our obligations to customers and prospective customers regarding a sales and application branch office right on their doorstep. Short access routes, faster repair response times and comprehensive training opportunities for all systems – this is how Seica strengthens its promised sales activities, which we have started with several new sales partners earlier this year.“

Founded in 1986, Seica S.p.A. is a global supplier of automatic test equipment and selective soldering systems, with an installed base of more than 1700 systems on 4 continents. Seica offers highly automated laser-based selective soldering solutions as well as a complete line of test solutions, including bed of nails and flying probe testers able to perform MDA, in-circuit and functional tests and optical tests for electronic assemblies, as well as for second and third level electronic modules and bare boards. Company headquarters are located in Strambino, Italy, with direct offices in France, Germany, the United States and China, supported by a global distribution network covering the rest of the world.
