Seika Machinery, Inc., a leading provider of advanced machinery, materials and engineering services, has announced a limited time special on all DEN-ON INSTRUMENTS CO., LTD. SMD rework stations. DEN-ON is offering significant savings on their new generation RD-500V/SV models, as well as their legacy workhorse RD-500III/SIII series, valid now until the end of August 2016.

The RD-500V is designed for large board sizes up to 28" x 20", while the more compact RD-500SV can work with boards up to 17" x 16". These rework stations are uniquely equipped with powerful built-in localized convection heaters on both the top and bottom side, as well as an IR preheater for very stable board conditioning as standard. Precise profiling, including detailed temperature curves, can be executed by closely controlling and editing up to 30 zones individually and in Real Time.

The RD-500III model is designed for large board sizes up to 23.5" x 20", while the more compact RD-500SIII model can work with board sizes up to 16.5" x 15". Each of the DEN-ON rework stations feature both fixed-wall nozzles and innovative, adjustable-wall nozzles, together with creatively designed tooling for holding various shaped PCBs. Each system will remove and replace a wide variety of components, including BGAs, CSPs, QFPs and PLCCs. The higher end RD-500V/SV series will even handle 01005 chips and Package On Package (POP).
