Glenbrook Technologies Unveils an Ultra-High Sensitivity, Desk-Top, Mail Security X-Ray Inspection Station.

Nov 15, 2001

Glenbrook Technologies, a leading manufacturer of high-resolution real-time x-ray inspection systems for the global electronics market has recently announced the development of an ultra-high sensitivity, desk-top, mail security x-ray inspection station, The MXRA (Mail X-ray Analyzer). This device has the unique capability of seeing elusive, low density materials, such as plastics, granules, micro-electronic components and hair-thin wires, through envelopes and small parcels.( The enhanced sensitivity can permit reading of the embossed numbers on plastic cards)

The MXRA employs Glenbrook's patented x-ray camera technology that provides real-time video x-ray images on a desk-top station, with detail and sensitivity not seen before. The system's ability to provide variable magnifications between 7X-40X, combined with the ultra-high sensitivity of Glenbrook's x-ray camera technology, make the MXRA uniquely suited for mail content analysis. The MXRA is extremely easy-to-use and weighs only 60 pounds.
