KIC today announced that it has been awarded a 2013 Circuits Assembly Service Excellence Award in the category of Soldering Equipment for its outstanding customer ratings, as judged by its own customers.
“After winning nearly 30 top industry awards for innovative products and best customer service, we are particularly proud of the recognition this award gives to our outstanding customer support team, said Bjorn Dahle, President of KIC. From the very early days at KIC we decided to make customer support a priority. In our opinion, it is not enough to make industry leading products, we also need to support our customers to ensure that they become successful in applying our products. It is good to see that our customers are indeed valuing this work.”
Circuits Assembly Editor-in-Chief, Mike Buetow presented the award to KIC’s Service Technician, Tom Bergeron, during a Tuesday, February 19, 2013 ceremony that took place at the San Diego Convention Center in California.
Sponsored by Circuits Assembly, the Service Excellence Awards (SEAs) for Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) providers and electronics assembly suppliers honor companies excelling in the crucial area of customer service. The program, now in its 21st year, functions as a way for participants to see how they compare to peers in customer satisfaction.
