Kintech Electronics, which was established in 1984, has monthly PCB production capacity of 400,000 square feet and caters to both small- and large-volume production, the report stated.
Kintech Electronics first specialized in four-layer PCBs, mainly for motherboards, but widened its production to PCBs of six layers and more for other markets to avoid stiff price competition on the four-layer boards, said Taiwan Economic News. Now PCBs with six layers or higher constitute almost 30% of Kintech Electronics' total revenue, according to the report.
Kintech Electronics' 2002 financial results were reported as: NT$938 million in revenue (92.05% of its target for 2002); NT$58.34 million in pretax profit; NT$48.66 million in after-tax profit (83.25% of its 2002 target); and net (after-tax) EPS of NT$1.44 (83.24% of its 2002 target).
