Pulse Electronics' PIMinator Accessories Zero-In on DAS Network PIM Reduction

May 11, 2016 | Pulse Electronics Corporation introduces two unique and performance-enhancing installation options for its PIMinator® line of distributed antenna system (DAS) in-building ceiling-mount antennas. The DASACHOLDER is a sturdy, plastic, above-ceiling antenna holder that is easy to install, is hidden above the ceiling so it doesn't interfere with the aesthetics of the building, and does not induce passive intermodulation (PIM) in in-building installations. The DASACABSORBER attaches to the plastic holder or surrounding structures and helps mitigate the effects of PIM sources by absorbing reflections on cellular radio frequencies in the transmit and receive bands. The result is a confirmed reduction of PIM energy by as much as 40dB.

Pulse Electronics Introduces Monarch Series Multi-mode Satellite Navigation System Ceramic Antenna for GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, and Galileo

Jan 20, 2016 | Pulse Electronics Corporation's new Monarch Series multi-mode global navigation satellite system ceramic antennas provide wireless signal reception for the four major global and regional satellite systems: GPS, GLONASS, Beidou (Compass), and Galileo. The Monarch Series W3010 is a compact, low profile antenna that delivers high efficiency (75% typical) over a wide bandwidth for enhanced navigation and device tracking. With its profile of 3.2x10x2mm, low weight of 310mg, and VSWR of less than 1.6:1, the Monarch Series fits antenna requirements for items such as portable personal navigation devices, asset tracking equipment, mobile hot spots, mobile point-of-sale terminals, digital walkie-talkies, vehicle data recorders and video systems, public safety devices, telematics equipment, and Internet of Things devices.

Pulse Electronics' ProxAnt TL 1.0 Package Combines a Proximity Sensor with an Antenna to Optimize both Functions

Dec 16, 2015 | Pulse Electronics Corporation introduces an all-in-one combination antenna and proximity sensor package to optimize the characteristics of both functions, thus enabling better device performance and increased design flexibility for tablets, laptops, and notebook computers. The ProxAnt TL 1.0 is a seven band main antenna, a proximity sensor chip, and all needed components included on the same flexible circuit board. Without requiring physical contact, the sensor recognizes when it is close to the user and sends a signal to the host processor to reduce the transmission power to the antenna, thus lowering SAR. The sensor also recognizes movement to avoid a false trigger.

Pulse Electronics' Clarity-Pearl Antennas Aesthetically Improve Public Safety Radio Coverage of In-Building Repeater Systems

Dec 13, 2015 | Pulse Electronics Corporation introduces a new edition in the Clarity® family of antennas that operates at UHF band frequencies including 380-520 MHz and 698-960 MHz to improve public safety radio coverage. The Clarity-Pearl antennas deliver an architecturally pleasing solution to requirements set by the International Fire Code and National Fire Protection Association (IFC/NFPA) codes for public safety in-building communication. Their ultra-thin white UV stabilized plastic radome is 311mm in diameter and protrudes just 9.5mm below the ceiling for the lowest in-building antenna profile in the industry. They provide an antenna solution for challenges created by multi-story structures with weak propagation characteristics and basements with low ceilings.
