Highly flexible and High-Speed selective soldering!
The ERSA Versaflow consists of 3 independently programmable and operating modules: a micro-drop fluxer mounted on a x/y table, a fix-mounted preheating module and a solder module positioned on a x/y/z table. An optional teach-in function is also available. To reduce the formation of oxydes in the solder bath, and to improve the quality of the solder joints, the complete bath is inerted. High equipment availability and low maintenance are thus assured. A large variety of easily interchangeable solder nozzles of different sizes and shapes are made available, permitting to use the best nozzle cofiguration for each product. With ERSAsoft, the Windows based operating software of the system, each joint can be processed using the parameters most suitable for making a good strong connection - no compromises have to be accepted. This goes a long way towards the drive to Zero-Defect Soldering. The Versaflow can be extended to increase the throughput of the line by either the addition of a second solder module, optionally with additional preheat, or with a dip module.
