NEC Electronics Receives 'Gutsy Award' at First Annual EEMBC Awards
Jan 24, 2001 | NEC Electronics was honored with EEMBC's (EDN Embedded Processor Benchmark Consortium) first annual "Most Published" Award. Nicknamed the "Gutsy Award," the honor is given to the EEMBC member. That certified and published the greatest number of EEMBC benchmarking scores during the year. EEMBC's first release of benchmark results on April 11, 2000,* contained scores for three of NEC's products, representing more published scores than for any other EEMBC member.
