Promation ENB / EMB - Post AOI Sorting Systems

With AOI and TEST becoming a process necessity, PROMATION has manufactured several systems that can sort PASS/FAIL criteria, passing the good product through the station and buffering failed inspection products into a magazine.

Our ENB station is designed to sort product from either an AOI or TEST station. The station includes a single removable magazine that can hold up to 50 PCBs (at 10 mm pitch) that FAIL the inspection or test process. This in-line solution is perfect for off line rework of suspect product. When the magazine is full, a platform shuttles out of the station to allow the operator ergonomic access to the magazine.

Our EMB station is a full featured magazine handling system that is available with a rear buffer station, allowing the station to hold up to 5 magazines at any one time. Like the ENB station, the EMB station can sort PASS/FAIL decisions. However this station is also programmable that enables it to be a Line Loader, Line Unloader, PASS through conveyor, or AOI/TEST sorting station. Magazines with repaired product may be reinserted into this station to allow for continued process flow through the remainder of the line.
