UltraCAD Design, Inc. offers specialized printed circuit board design services primarily for firms in the video and data processing industries, applications where designs can be particularly complex. Our team consists of some of the best designers in the business, with individual experience ranging from 17 to over 26 years.

Through the years, our designers have worked with some truly outstanding engineers. Collectively, these engineers have had an extensive number of unique and valuable design insights. Those, coupled with the experience our designers have gained from the great variety of work they have enjoyed, gives UltraCAD the ability to solve problems where other design houses have failed.

And, during their careers, our designers have designed some of the largest and most complex boards in these industries (including a 20" x 40" monster with over 40,000 controlled impedance connections on 10 signal layers with 12 power and ground planes distributing over 800 amps). Our designers know how to combine high speed analog and digital circuits for maximum performance and minimum noise radiation; their proprietary placement routines and extensive experience allow them to effectively place components for efficiency, manufacturability, and serviceability; they have designed complex boards with ALL signal paths matched to +/-50 picoseconds; and they anticipate where you might have future revisions and design with those potential changes in mind. And, while they are not engineers, they have more than a few times been able to offer suggestions to clients regarding engineering design improvements.
