Worked for Compaq Computer Corp for several years, a couple of years at Nokia Mobile Phones, a couple of years at Tellabs Telecommunications Company, and most recently I am working a contract position in Cleveland Ohio.
My experience over the last 11 years:
• SMT Programmer for: Universal, Fuji and Siemens equipment using Tecnomatix/Unicam and Optel programming and optimization software.
• Merging BOM files with CAD files to create machine programs and line balancing.
• New component libraries creation and massaging old part data's per vendor variance.
• Optimizing DFT throughout production line.
• Worked in New Products, ran many prototype builds and communicated DFM related defects to design teams. Then released into manufacturing and supported the build for the first run to weed out any unforeseen issues.
• Profiled convection ovens, solder waves and generated BGA rework profiles with Air-Vac and Conceptronics Freedom 2000
• Using SMT mentor files and Gerber files to order stencils.
• Worked with MPM and DEK screen printers, both programming and maintenance.
• I have written standard operating procedures for basic operation as well as preventive maintenance procedures for SMT equipment.
• Supported multiple production lines in all areas of production from start to finish.
• Extensive operator training in both operations, maintenance and all safety related procedures (MSDS and HazCom)
