Job Description:

You must have prior success calling on the engineering staff of medium to large size manufacturers in a highly competitive market, where your service is considered expensive relative to competition. You must manage current account relationships and prospect for new business selling custom engineered solutions ranging in price from $15,000 to $80,000 and be a strong closer. You should have strong listening skills, good telephone skills, and problem identification/solving capabilities. You must have a prior income of at least $70,000. An ideal candidate is an electronics engineer with sales or customer service experience. Knowledge of printed circuit board assembly testing is helpful. Responsibilities: 1)Maintain and build a strong customer base for the test software business. Work closely with customers to identify, understand and document technical requirements. Communicate technical requirements to engineering and fixture vendors. 2)Work closely with TSLA engineering and fixture vendors to prepare competitive job quotes to meet customer requirements. 3)Serve as the liaison for TSL America to assure any discrepancies are resolved and all information for jobs in process is obtained from the customer. Follow-up on completed jobs to measure customer satisfaction, and define areas of process improvements. 4)Penetrate accounts to the fullest extent. Where applicable identify related TSL product sales opportunities and present them to the appropriate company contact. 5)Attend tradeshows, industry forums, etc. to keeping abreast of industry changes. 6)Make presentations to promote the company�s products. 7)Assist in developing a sales plan to achieve sales and gross margin targets for the year with help from the VP of Operations and Senior Manager, Technology and Services to establish the final plan. 8)Assist the Senior Manager, Technology and Services in reviewing and maintain product and service pricing that is in line with market conditions and company objectives. 9)Prepare and submit expense reports for approval and reimbursement, and manage expenses within budget. Qualifications: A degree in business administration with a sales or marketing focus, or an electronics degree, with 2-3 years of related technical selling or customer service experience. Be organized, possess a customer and vendor relations service attitude, and be able to build long-term relationships with a commitment to succeed. Identify and implement strategic objectives, and promote customer partnerships. Must be able to make decisions in a fast-paced engineering environment, write and present quotes, relate easily to engineers (internal and external), possess strong inter-personal skills and be a leader.
