Senior Sales Engineer
Identifies, develops, and supports new business at designated prospective customer accounts within the assigned territory. Establishes trusting relationships with customers, discovers customer needs, aligns Universal Instruments solutions to customer needs, successfully guides customers to commit to Universal Instruments business solutions, and supports customers� purchase decision throughout the relationship. This includes active listening, preparing customer proposals, making effective sales presentations, ensuring UIC products and services match customer specifications, and coordinating after sale support services.
Works with Product Divisions and Manufacturing Support personnel to ensure contract review process is completed, clearly defining customer equipment and delivery requirements and Universal's commitments to the customer.
Works with Product Training, Field Engineering and Product Divisions to schedule customer training, equipment acceptances, installation services, and after sales technical support requirements.
Monitors customer satisfaction levels and resolves issues with the appropriate Universal personnel and through use of the corporate corrective action process.
We require a Bachelor's Degree in technical or business field or a level of understanding of sales normally associated with college-level courses, with three to five years experience in sales, service, design, or manufacture of surface mount automated equipment. Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills, and the ability to make effective customer presentations are required.
