Manages controls and directs staff to achieve Materials profit and Loss objectives. Ensures the timely delivery of materials at the most economical cost, consistent with quality standards, affecting quality by assuring that suspicious material is identified and that material is handled, stored and delivered properly. Ensures a high degree of customer satisfaction through negotiations of customer expectations, and managing and directing staff activities required to meet this expectation.
Coordinates with customers, purchasing, project managers, business unit managers and warehouse managers daily to meet mfg objectives.
Responsible for accurate inventory cycle counts, and controls. Responsible for disposition of excess and obsolete materials.
Develop and implement acceptable material strategies, which support both your internal and external customers.
Provide timely and accurate conflict resolution to the Site material issues that arise.
Work with Materials Management staff to improve overall materials processes.
Provide customer support to sales group, by representing materials in sales presentations.

Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelors Degree in related area or equivalent in experience. Masters Degree preferred. Should have CPIM or APICS certification. 10 years of materials experience in related areas and managerial experience is needed. Must have experience in electronics manufacturing environment.
