Director of Engineering & Quality

My client company is an EMS provider located in the Northeastern United States and they have an urgent need for a Director of Engineering and Quality.  This twenty year old company is a full service supplier of PCBAs, cables, harnesses, and complete system box builds to customers in various markets including the industrial, telecommunications, networking, and medical segments. This EMS provider has the capacity available for extensive growth with a 5 year business plan to increase revenues by over 60% through organic growth and acquisition!  They pride themselves on continuously investing in the latest advanced technology along with an extensive training program that has resulted in the long term retention of their employees.

In the position of Director of Engineering and Quality you will be responsible for ensuring that all standards are maintained to the highest possible levels within this electronics manufacturing plant. You will develop and implement a strategic and tactical corporate engineering and quality plan as the company continues to grow organically and through acquisition. The background requirements for the position of Director of Engineering and Quality are as follows:

* 5+ years of Engineering and / or Quality Assurance experience with an EMS provider.
* Experience working in a Director or Manager role.
* Strong knowledge of engineering and quality standards that are utilized in the assembly
   of electronic products.
* Must be very detail oriented, able to multi-task, and prioritize projects.
* Must have excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
