Position: Field Service Engineer to support Automated X-Ray Inspection (AXI) Equipment for Manufacturing.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide Hardware Technical support to existing customers; Hardware troubleshooting to problem resolution at minimal machine downtime. Support to include Customer on-site visits, remote support, phone support.
- Equipment Installation.
- Preventative Maintenance,
- Provide Pre-Sales support to Sales Team
- Establish close relationships with Customers and maintain clear channels of communication with RnD Engineering Team (as required) and Customer Install base.
- Travel to JapanChinaGermanyUSA for initial training and periodic new feature training.
- Provide Equipment Demos during Industry Trade Shows.
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Train new Customers on application Test Development in the Americas
- Support Equipment Evaluations at Customer sites with up to a 2 week duration
Successful Candidates for this position will have:
- Previous Field Experience
- Knowledge of Circuit Card Assembly Process
- Strong Communication and Presentation Skills
- Flexibility in adjusting to a fluid travel schedule
- Willingness to travel up to 70%
- Familiarity with IPC -610, IPC-7095
Education:/Experience
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science preferred with minimum of 2 years of experience in the SMT Manufacturing Industry.
