Position: Material Control Manager Contract position with the intension of being made a direct hire offer after 6 months, Elk Grove Village. Pay range is $45K-$50K. Emphasis in Electronics manufacturing, Inventory and effective Warehouse Organization.

Duties: This is a hands-on role for an experienced Electronics Contract Manufacturing Service Company Warehouse Leader. This individual leads a culturally diverse team of receiving and warehouse personnel in all efforts to ensure the company maintains accurate inventories and provides timely and effective support to production operations.  The successful candidate will be familiar with fundamental APICS concepts, capable and experienced in developing best practices complete with appropriate operation metrics to bring your team to the next level of performance.

Given the many unique challenges that the electronics industry faces, this person must be able to demonstrate a record of success in this industry.  Additionally, this person will lead and participate in the physical re-organization of the warehouse(s) including location assignment ensuring the most active picks require the least travel, thus reducing pick time and cost.

Position requirements: BA or BS 3+ years experience in similar role in an Electronics Contract Manufacturing Environment. Must be Computer Literate with basic skills in Excel and Word Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to lead a culturally diverse team.
