Machine Vision Products, Inc. is a global capital equipment manufacturing company, headquartered in southern California, providing automated inspection solutions to the printed circuit board assembly industry. MVP is expanding its Customer Support base within the U.S. as a result of continued success. MVP provides innovative products that help electronics manufacturers achieve higher yields, lower production costs, improve quality, and speed time to market. MVP�s Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) systems are used worldwide in over 25 countries. Customers include manufacturers in the automotive, computer, electronics, and telecomm industries.

MVP is seeking to hire a dynamic, technical individual who can fill this role by:

Providing technical support to customers through phone and email, perform field service and machine installation, troubleshoot both hardware and software, repair and calibrate equipment at customer sites, prepare and conduct customer demonstrations and evaluations, create system documentation, assist with software and hardware testing, and conduct both customer and internal systems training. This position is located at a customer site, but the candidate must be able to travel internationally if necessary. This position will work directly with the customer and interact remotely with MVP's support organization.

Basic Requirements

- Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
- Intermediate/Advanced computer skills required.
- Ability to effectively problem solve and troubleshoot.
- Team player with positive and supportive attitude.

Education/Experience Requirements

- Education: Engineering degree or similar technical level education required.
- Work Experience: Entry-level application engineering position.
- Travel: Candidate must hold a current driving license and passport. Minimal travel required.
