EDUCATION: BSEE, some experience taking board level products successfully from design to production or equivalent years experience
JOB DUTIES: Perform high speed digital design.
Capable of understanding marketing requirement.
Need to handle design specification, schematics design, digital logic design, simulation, circuit boards implementation, prototyping, design verification, and documentation.
Able to trouble-shoot circuit problem and handle issue independently.
Understand gigabit backplane design and SPICE simulation is necessary.
Need to interface with marketing, manufacturer and OEM/DOM vendors.
REQUIREMENT: Experience in high speed circuit design, able to perform timing analysis for logic design. Experience with high speed processor, memory buffering, network controller, PCI controller.
Need to understand multiple signal interface circuit, CMOS, LVTLL, LVDS, PECL, HSTL, SSTL, CML.
Knowledge of solving signal integrity issues for high-speed, high performance systems. Experience in gigabit backplane design, and in SPICE simulation is needed.
Understanding of physical layer of networking. Design experience in Gigabit Ethernet , fiber optics is needed. Able to use high level language for digital design.
Experience in Verilog coding, and using Synplicity compiler is preferred. Experience in Mentor/Veribest is preferred.
