Applications Deployment Engineer AEGIS Industrial Software is a global leader in Manufacturing Execution Software (MES) dedicated to the electronics assembly industry. Our expanding applications engineering team has an opening for: Applications Deployment Engineer: This person will be responsible for implementation of our CIM product, �FUSION�. They will travel to customer sites, setup and configure their MIS and network topologies to conform to our software and will also customize certain settings in the software to meet the customers� needs. They will work closely with our computer programmers to address the issues that arise from implementation. The following skill sets are required: a) Travel onsite to customer facilities and set up sophisticated software systems. b) Manage and maintain customer relations during system installations. c) Ability to work well with software engineers in problem solving. d) Prepare and maintain technical proposals for customer installations. e) Experience in SQL Server/Oracle. f) Minimum of 2 years experience in Windows network topology and operating systems. g) Must have independent drive while working with a company-wide support team. h) Direct electronics assembly process experience (SMT and through-hole) is preferred. i) Working knowledge of CIM software is desired. j) Knowledge of electronics manufacturing contract manufacturers and OEMs is desired.
