Job Description: |
Plans manpower, facility and equipment needs based on production schedule.
* Sets goals and monitors assembly and/or test schedules.Trains personnel, either personally or through group leaders/work directors, in effective equipment and material handling to meet production/quality standards and oversees such standards.Maintains and/or recommends improvements in processes, procedures, tooling, equipment and materials.Interfaces with Production Engineering and Production / Inventory Control personnel to improve floor flow and processes.Observes/enforces safety rules and maintains time and attendance through automated labor reporting systems.Assures maximum utilization and efficiency of personnel and equipment to provide greatest productivity in assigned area.Observes and enforces strict adherence to security procedures regarding CCI and classified materials. Trains and motivates subordinates to meet cost, schedule and quality standards while creating an environment to encourage continuous improvement.Provides various daily/weekly/monthly reports on assigned programs to production management.Administers all Human Resources programs and policies (including selection, promotion, transfers, salary administration and termination) without regard to race, religion, sex, national origin, age or handicap). |
