Job Description:

I'm looking for Product and process engineers to join a growing team within the Christchurch organisation. Previous experience is a must, ideally from a CEM style background. The function of this role is to provide a Robust Engineering Process by (& not limited to): � Act as the primary customer contact for all engineering matters � Visit to Customer sites or other sites as required � Provide both quality and build rate targets for manufacturing � Undertake labour quotations for existing business reviews and NPI activity including Actual Vs quote analysis and NRE (Non Re-occurring Expenditure) � Recommend DFM solutions to customers � Plan, develop, evaluate and implement robust manufacturing methods to allow manufacturing to meet the required production targets for yield & though put with respect to o All tooling o Work flow o Time study o Costing o layout � Identify & implement process, cost saving and quality improvements within the manufacturing environment to increase production through put and production yields. � Create, implement and communicate ECN activity where applicable to engineering � Perform Root cause Analysis to identify & eliminate factors resulting in unacceptable manufacturing quality and through puts. � Clearly document all manufacturing processes & gain agreement from the manufacturing team for fitness & clarity prior to implementation � Track quality yields for those products you are responsible for at each of the following gates: SMT (Top & Btm), Wave/Post, ICT/FP, Functional, FQC � Where required carry out BOM analysis, scrubbing or checking Please forward CV's to the contact email address in the 1st instance.
