Engineering Manager (system/equipment design)

This is a retained executive search for our client who is one of the largest manufacturers of solid tantalum, and multi-layer ceramic capacitors manufactured in many sizes & configurations and sold to a variety of OEMs in a broad range of industries. Net sales of $800 million.
Requirements:
Undergrad degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Master's a plus.
Min. 8-10 yrs. exp. in manufacturing with preference for experience with component, capacitor or circuit board experience and system/equipment design.
Strategic and practical thinker.
Extensive project management skills.
Compentency with various component manufacturing processes, including thermal processing, component handling & other very high volume processing steps.
Domestic and international travel.
Ability & desire to take on additional management responsibilities and advance into future executive management.
You will lead a team of engineers & technicians in system/machine design for new generation product and cost reduction efforts.
This position is at Headquarters.
