Technicians / Technologists
To help us continue setting the pace in a rapidly changing manufacturing environment, we
need people to operate state of the art manufacturing equipment, perform failure analysis
and quality inspection on a wide variety of electronic assemblies. These positions will
appeal to individuals who wish to take on advanced technical challenges in an empowered
environment.
Qualifications:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Computer Engineering
- Electronics Engineering
- Mechtronics Engineering
Activities:
Failure Analysis
- Operation of digital, analog and debug test equipment
- Interfacing with quality, test and development engineering.
Wave Solder
- Computer controlled process manufacturing and diagnosis
- Process quality monitoring and inspection ie solder fillets, cold solder, component
stability
Surface Mount Technology (SMT)
- Operation of an automated SMT assembly process, incorporating fine pitch placement, ball
grid arrays and wire bonding
Quality
- Operation of advanced x-ray and automated vision equipment
to ensure product quality and process control.
