Corporate Crisis and Security Forum

Wed, March 01 - Thu, March 02, 2017

The Adolphus Hotel, Dallas, Texas

Are you prepared to handle a crisis or catastrophic event today? Do you know your first course of action when a tsunami, hurricane, or earthquake hits your facilities? What would your CEO tell the media first?

This 1.5-day session will explore crisis management and corporate security specific to the manufacturing sector through practical insights, peer-led case studies, and open discussions on best practices in business continuity planning. Hear from your peers on business preparedness, resilience, and lessons learned from real-life experiences managing crises, corporate security, and black swan events.

Our 2016 agenda featured speakers from Parker Hannifin, Lockheed Martin, OSAC, Briggs & Stratton, and Texas Instruments on topics including business resiliency, emerging markets, and pandemic preparedness.

Last year's attendees received 9 credits for continuing legal education (CLE). Contact us for more information about receiving CLE credits.

What makes MAPI forums different?

Roundtable discussions: Rich dialogue on the issues you care about, moderated to keep discussions focused on the “so what.”
Peer-to-peer sharing: There are no talking heads. Almost all of the content is delivered by your peers at global manufacturers.
No death by PowerPoint: While our presenters deliver outstanding content, we schedule ample time for interaction and Q&A, so that you can dig deep on the topics that matter.
No pitches: Our forums never have more than one sponsor, and there are no sales pitches. None.
Balance of strategy and utility: Our forums deliver great content around strategy and peer-tested frameworks for putting those strategies into action.

Who should attend?

  • Executives who develop and implement business continuity programs (including those in EHS, risk management, internal audit, and legal )
  • Executives in charge of corporate crisis management (including those in leadership positions and who have quality, supply chain, and communications responsibilities)
  • Heads of corporate security (CSOs, directors, managers of security, etc.) or those tasked with overseeing physical and employee security within their companies (including executives in EHS, risk management, and operations)

On February 28, we are hosting a reception at 6:00 p.m. Our day on March 1 starts with breakfast at 7:00 a.m. and wraps by 4:30 p.m. On March 2, breakfast starts at 7:00 a.m. and the forum will finish by 11:00 a.m.
