Since 1983, Mid America Taping and Reel has been a leader on component automation preparation. Mid America was a pioneer in the Surface Mount Tape and Reel service from the beginning, with over 20 years of SMD taping experience.
Mid America uses, sells and distributes only American made products. The majority of our embossed carrier tape is manufactured in house, our reels are molded with our own molds, right here in Illinois. Our cover tape is manufactured by Neptco, the premier cover tape manufacturer, on the East Coast.
