IRC, Inc - Advanced Film Division of TT electronics, plc

IRC has been a leader in resistor technology, including the industry's comprehensive range of current sense resistors, precision discrete and networks, integrated passive components, and specialized power resistors.

Manufacturer

IRC Advanced Film Division is located in Corpus Christi, Texas, USA. The division was opened in 1975 and acquired by the TT Group PLC (now TT electronics, plc) in 1990.

The Company specializes in the application of various resistor film systems to substrate material to form resistors, sensors and other resistive type devices.

Product Range

Surface Mount

IRC boasts the industry's widest range of resistive devices designed for surface mount applications. Along with Welwyn Electronics, our sister company in the UK, IRC's comprehensive line of SMT products includes cylindrical Metal Glaze® resistors, commercial and precision flat chips with ultra-high and ultra-low resistance values, and custom wirewounds.

Networks

IRC is in a class by itself when it comes to resistor networks. Our patented TaNFilm® manufacturing process is challenging many of today's applications that have long relied on nichrome technology. In addition, IRC manufactures state-of-the-art precision molded and conformally coated resistor networks which meet the most demanding applications specifications. Rounding out this product line are general purpose commercial thick film molded and conformally coated packages.

General Purpose

IRC manufactures a broad line of general purpose leaded and surface mount resistive products for today's standard applications. IRC is supported by a broad geographic network of franchised distributors for local and national off-the-shelf delivery. Our distributors maintain well-stocked inventories of commercial and military film, wirewounds, surface mount devices, and standard products to meet your needs.
