We current use glue on our bottom side boards using stencils and screen printers. Our Glue aperatures that we use are very small rectangles and they seem to clog very easily. We currently are using Heraeus PD955PR #8 and see alot of boards that are not getting alot of glue because they are clogged. Any suggestions are welcome.

James,

Get Heraeus's input as well. They should have the best answer for their glue.

I had a similar problem a few years ago when glue printing. Our production environment wasn't to clean room standards and there was a bit of air born contamination floating around which would gather on the PCB surface (also our rough board edges would file off small bits of our PCB storage magazines). This was reduced by putting and Air Knife between the board loader and the printer. This blew off any dust particles or contamination which had a tendency to stick to the underside of the screen. I helped greatly but we still had occurrences.
