I'm looking for storage method for or Resistor and Capacitors reels. Does anybody knows any vendors that make these types of cabinets?

Hi,

I was interested in your topic as well, and did a Google search on it. Found these and they look interesting.

Try: * Bliss Industries [ http://www.bliss-industries ]. Ken Bliss in an invenerate poster here, but he's probably just getting feet back on the ground after APEX. * Metro-style carts that an earlier poster mentioned. Here's another source: http://www.mgkscotland.co.uk/icrack/icrack.htm

* Vertical carousels, like http://www.cisco-eagle.com/systems/Carousels/Vertical/default.htm

Hi:

We started many years ago with totes on shelves 30 reels per side. Then we moved to 12" shelving with reel boxes. 5 reels per box. It was cheap and each was a single location. Great for finding and decrease cycle time in finding parts. Our whole reel storage took up a 15'X34' area on the production floor. We expanded, so we bought 6 Remstar vertical systems. We can now fit 2 times the reels in the same amout of space. We have space for 21k 7" reels 9k of large reels and about 700 locations for tray parts.

If you want more info or Pic. drop me an e-mail carl.bjerke@bench.com
