Alpha vs Sterling Imersion Silver | 10 June, 2003

Entering the world of Electrolysis Imersion Silver as a board finish. Have two customers...one using Alpha and the other using Sterling as the silver used in the process. What are the differences? What are the process hits (if any) for the two? Any advice on working with either of the finishes?

See, every so often, it's nice to have smart customers.

We see no difference between Alpha Level Silver and Mac Dermid Sterling immersion solderability protection.
