I have not seen any, but that does not mean they do not exist. I do know lead-free is starting to loose its momentum. Compliance dates are being pushed back. And also some of the European standards developments are starting to make exceptions (i.e. military electronics or Hi-rel) to the compliance dates and specs. I know there are companies out there working on reliability issues but more for internal preparation.

While loosing traction, lead-free is a fait accompli. The 'greens' rule Euroland and the rest are sheep, too fat and content to realize what's happening.

While not addressing your question on strength directly, National Electronics Manufacturing Initiative (NEMI) in Herndon, VA recently published a report on the reliability of lead-free solder connections. Look here: http://www.nemi.org/PbFreePUBLIC/index.html

Thanks for answers....In Euroland (My place)it is not so clear. And this is confusing: There is 3 different comitteeļæ½s in Europe. First says 1 of January 2007.Second says 1 of January 2006, and third one says that any of these will do.

Also we get a pressure from our customer and they want to be lead free.

Thanks, Mr.T "I pity the fool"
